Gossip Girl, the infamous blogger, is at work giving everyone the 411 on The Upper East Side's goings on and it's inhabitance do nothing but fuel an ever raging fire. While the students of Constance Billard School for Girls and St. Jude's School for Boys attend benefits and mingle with the filthy rich they try to maintain the standards that have been set for them when they were born. Love lives and friendships don't last long here and it's only become too apparent as the days flick to months but the elite know how to solve this- for every break-up there's a pair of Prada heels, an exclusive Gucci dress and a few flutes of champagne to ease a broken heart.

With everyone under the illusion that these thoroughbred adolescents have the perfect life how long will it be before they realise that nothing is perfect in this world and that they all have their problems?

The cast include a range of stunning women all fighting viciously to get in the spot light and manipulation isn't above them when it comes to having their claws out. Cat fights at The Met aren't uncommon and nobody is safe when it comes to the addiction and need for a top reputation and social status. The men aren't neglected either each one striving to have the best of everything.

The ladder to success is climbed by all and few get passed the second step.

If you play by the rules set out chances are you'll be set up for life however if you think you can last by following your own then I'm afraid you'll be setting yourself up for an early demise and the Valentino sporting crowd will ruin you for the rest of your teens.
